ENJOYMENT OF
LIVING A DREAM
METU is not
only a target to be achieved but also a dream wanted to become real for me like
everybody waiting at its door to come in. When I accomplish this, I
realize all the opportunities and advantages provided for me. However, it does
not mean that there are not any challenges which cause me to consider studying
at METU hard. First of all, METU has one
of the biggest campuses in Turkiye, maybe the biggest one, which has all
facilities in it. It is like world in itself where you can find whatever you
want from the sports centre to the shops. For example, there are seven doors,
from which you can access to the campus and many complex roads because of
which, you can easily be lost. It is one of the most challenging aspect of METU
even if I am not a new-comer since something is always missing. In order to
deal with this problem, I always carry my map with me whereever I go and prefer
the roads that I used before even if it is the long one. Secondly, computer
technologies are well-developed in METU to carry out all our basic works.
Everything is made with the help of internet and computer. Its easiness is not
controversial; however, I have difficulty sometimes in using these technologies
because I do not like computers so much. To be able to solve my problem, I am
always asking questions to people who encountered with the same problem and
trying to learn using these systems. To sum up, in my opinion, being a student
at METU is a privilege because both it has a huge campus where I can find all I
want, need and dream and it is full of innovative technologies I can choose
according to my needs. Moreover, this privilege can not be disregarded due to
some challenges which can be coped with in any way.
Dear Esra,
YanıtlaSilI liked your article and find it inspring for anyone who thinks of studying at METU.The way you represented our university is really good. It is really good for me to see our university from your point of view .You talked about different aspects of METU.I have learned a new thing about my university from your text. There are seven entrances . I'm wondering where the other four doors are since I just used three of them. You also reflected the challenges that you encountered and I think showing difficulties that you had is a good way to make new comers ready to this facts
