' I brain ODTÜ' is an effective slogan which makes you be proud of yourself and causes others to want to become a part of it. I really like it as a member of METU. First of all, it is mentioned in the video that everybody questions, investigates and develops something in METU. That is exactly the thing which is expected from us. Thinking critically or creatively and looking through different perspectives are indispensable parts of being a member of METU. Secondly, there is an expression emphasizing that members of METU can think freely and express their ideas without hesitation. 'They do not accept any borders' is also added. This is about our university atmosphere. In METU, you do not have to limit or force yourself to think in a specific way. Additionally, everybody respects your idea no matter how different it is. Lastly, the best part for me is: 'We can change the world'. What a good claim it is! It is a good idea to believe in ourselves to be able to change our society or our environment because we are also a part of this world. It gives you self-confidence and the feeling of ' If I want, why not? '. To sum up, the slogan 'I brain ODTÜ' is the most suitable one-until creative minds find the new version- when I consider the expectations such as questioning or improving and the atmosphere of METU. It exactly defines what it means to become a member of METU and encourages you to think it.
